UnderGround3000

UnderGround 3000 Orchestra is an international original music project bringing together Old World sound and new composition, blending classical orchestration, Latin jazz, and contemporary world music. The project unites musicians from the United States, Canada, Colombia, Brazil, Russia, and Italy to perform and record original compositions. The Orchestra is built around a flexible approach to performance, ranging from intimate small ensembles to full orchestral configurations. Strings, piano, guitar, bass, drums, brass, and percussion come together depending on the composition and the setting. The project is created and led by Jason Cremasco, a composer, producer, orchestrator, and upright and electric bassist. Jason writes the original compositions, creates the scores and arrangements, engages the musicians, and oversees the recording and development of the catalog. Jason's background also includes live production and stage work, which shapes how the Orchestra operates. He understands load-in, staging, sound, production coordination, transportation, and the practical demands of putting a large ensemble on a stage on schedule.
